Signed Rollin Karg Glass Sculpture from 1994. I cannot describe all the colors in this beautiful piece in one paragraph. Take a look at the photos.... The pictures say it all. This is no paperweight folks!!! Its large and extremely heavy. Its over 40 POUNDS of glass... 10" tall and has a 27" outer circumference. I recently contacted Karg Glass Art Gallery in Kansas to find out some information on the piece. They confirmed to me it was made by them and its name was Oscar. They were trying for a organic form when they made it over 18 years ago. This piece was given to me by a late relative. It was purchase from a gallery in Brooklyn NY in 1994 and has been in my family since. Although I love its beauty its time to pass it on. I have a starting bid well below market value in the hopes that it can find the right home were it will be appreciated and enjoyed they way it was with our family. Like all art this will keep going up in value. The only condition issue is the bottom of the sculpture is scratched from being moved around without being on a felt pad. This has no effect to the sculpture at all because it cannot be seen. I took it over to a local glass gallery and was told if someone wanted to... but they agreed isn't necessary... it could be buffed out for around $250.00.
