ROLLS-ROYCE 40/50HP " SILVER GHOST " MASCOT HOOD ORNAMENT ........1911-1914 EDWARDIAN pre-World War One period ....:- A highly important, very rare and very collectable pre- WW1 1911-1914 period Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost " Spirit of Ecstasy " mascot hood ornament, superbly preserved after many Decades of careful Glass Cabinet Storage, and offered in beautifully original condition throughout..... Measures some 7 inches tall from base to wingtip, 5 inches long from wingtip to nose, and 5.10 inches tall from base top top of head ..... Magnificent original condition throughout.....Fabulous attention to detail and finish.....Reads " ROLLS_ROYCE LIMITED FEB 6TH 1911 " around the circumference of the base area, with the signature of Charles Sykes across the dome of the base area.........This beautiful and early RR emblem correctly has no under wings markings, and a hollow under base area, all the original and genuine features of the pre-!915 edwardian RR Silver Ghost mascot.....
