This tapestry depicts the history of Roll-Royce Motors through two world wars and highlights the many accomplishments through the first 75 years. This includes the Air, Sea and Land Speed Records. The tapestry is beautifully detailed in browns and golds and requires an extremely large wall . This tapestry is made up of three distinctive panels that are combined to make up the entire tapestry. Each panel measures approximately 7' 2" wide x 11' 7" high. This makes a combined width of 21' 5". The fabric appears to be of a cotton blend and is sturdy. T are some water stains along the top. These may be able to be treated/removed by a professional. We believe this tapestry is the only one left in existence. (We know that t were at least two originally.) This tapestry was designed as a back drop for auto shows and debuts worldwide. It is shown in the Rolls-Royce Journal Issue #20 in the Middle East, Rolls-Royce Journal Volume 2 #5 in Saudi Arabia, Rolls-Royce Journal #7 in St. Peter Port Garages during the launch of the Silver Shadow II and Silver Wraith II. Copies of these Journals could be included with this tapestry if desired. We loaned this tapestry to the Rolls-Royce Foundation when it was located in Lewisberry, PA. It was displayed t for a short period of time. The tapestry has been in the Cal West collection for over 20 years. read more
