Roman denarius, the emperor Tiberius sear1760, known as the tribute penny. The coin is framed so a little difficult to view in great detail but it looks to be in about F condition. It was bought through a very reputable auction house in Cumbria and has the framers original details on the back of the frame. The inscription beneath the coin reads as follows. "Authentic Tiberius Caeser "tribute Penny" Jesus was handed one of these in the temple and said. render therefore unto Caeser the things which are caeser's and to God the things that are God's. Sear's 2006 edition values this coin at £275.00 in VF, as I am not too much of an expert in Ancient coins I must take a guess at the coin's value
