Original and complete Roman era (3rd - 5th Century AD) Gold Gilt finger ring with large areas of gilt work remaining to the band and shoulders remaining (silver suggested below the gilt). The ring has been cleaned throughout and is in a conserved condition. The ring is set with the original rock crystal setting (small chip seen to stone). The shoulders are of open design and have oak leaf decoration seen. The band is undamaged and has an excellent round. - still in fine condition and the ring is stable and can be worn..
