Lowered from $1850 to $1550. Rare Roman Offiers Movie Prop Helmet of an Officer and used as Caesar Augustus. Has been in a few different films. It is an old antique Roman Officer Prop still in excellent condition. No chips or dings. The outside body of the helmet as well as the inside body of the helmet are 100% leather, except for the visor, which is brass and the gold work which is some type of resin material. Even the cheek guard hinges are leather. It comes with it's original red horse hair crest and looks to be real dyed horse unlike many other Roman movie prop helmets. It has beautiful lines and curves which really shape it to the wearers head. The cheek guards have Roman style thunder bolts on them. This is a very rare vintage Hollywood Roman helmet made exceptionally well. This is indeed a once in a life time chance to own this style of Roman Officers helmet from the days of Hollywoods Epic films. When will you ever find another one like this? Never, that's when.
