Heavy Roman silver ring with carved image of human skull. A ge: 100-400 A.D. From my collection. Condition: Intact, no repairs or restoration. Ring Size: 9 1/2 Weight: 16.5 grams! After 8 years on ebay, I've learned that I can't have open auctions and feedback that shows everything. Unlike most sellers, my images stayed visible for 90 days because I had nothing to hide. That policy just made me vulverable to an attack by a vicious fanatic with no morals. The person who recently gave me a negative comment (check it out!) never paid for his win and became offended when I asked for payment after 2 weeks. He then proceeded to send the same crude comments to some of my winners. Big Mistake! I consider my winners as my friends. Several have forwarded his messages to eBay and if eBay really wants Fair Play in the auction place, they will remove this person soon. We are waiting... About half my auctions this week are relisted from auctions held the past month; won by people who never paid, mostly people with low feedback scores. If you don't have at least 5 positive feedbacks, please contact me before bidding. If you bid anyway, I will cancel your bid and block you from bidding. No one wants to watch reruns because you didn't pay. About me: It all started for me in 1966-68 when I served as a Navy Journalist aboard the USS SPRINGFIELD (CLG-7) homeported in Villefranche-Sur-Mer on the southern coast of France. I bought coins & artifacts from coin dealers and antique shops in every country surrounding the Mediterranean Sea. I have been collecting Roman and Greek artifacts and silver coins for over 40 years, with a special interest in the "oddest things". I explore the Mojave Desert in Southern California for gold, turquoise, dino footprints, tar pit fossils, meteorites and solitude.... Every artifact I offer is presented with at least 2 photos from different aspects, dimensions in millimeters, weight in grams and the best description I can give without the use of superlatives.
