Hard Cover. 5" X 7 3/4". In decent condition with moderate shelf wear and some fading and wear to the spines. A few of the volumes have cracked hinges but textblocks are secure and pages are lightly edge tanned but clean. Volumes 1 - 25 of Dumas' Romances. Bound in green cloth boards Gilt lettering on white background and gilt designs on spines. Illustrated with photogravures and engravings from paintings by Maurice Leloir, Francois Flameng, F. Philippoteaux, Lucius Rossi, M. L. Melingue, E. Charlemont, J. A. Beauce, P. O. Jazet, A. Ledru, and others. Sepia fronticepieces have cellophane covers with red printing.
