Offering an autographed photo of Ronald Reagan with a personalized greeting to one of Southern Arizona's cattle barons - H.B. Thurber of Sonoita AZ.

The well preserved photograph has been framed and matted using a matte finish glass. The overall dimension of the framed piece is 13.5 x 15.5. The opening presenting the photograph is 7.5 x 9.5. The greeting reads..." Mr. Thurber, with my deepest personal regards, Ronald Reagan"

Included with the framed autographed photograph and housed within a slip in envelope fashioned on the back of the frame (see photo), is a letter dated October 11, 1982 addressed to Mr. Thurber from Dick Lugar who was at that time Chariman of the re-election committee aka the Republican Presidential Task Force. The letter reads. " I've enclosed in this envelope, a very special gift from the President of the United to you - - a personally signed photograph." The letter goes on to explain the task at hand and solicites an additional contribution of $120 to " keep Democrats from gaining control of the Senate in 1984."

These autographed photographs were sent to significant contributors to the re-election campaign. The photo is printed on a specially embossed paper - embossed with the Republican Presidential Task Force seal (see photo.) Because the print was professionally framed - it is in excellent condition. A fabulous piece of history from a president just heralded by the American people as the most important of this century and addressed to one of Arizona's most influencial citizens of the time, Mr. Harold Thurber .
