Forsale is a beautiful Rookwood Vellum vase. The vase was made in 1918 by Sara Sax, one of Rookwood’s famed artists. The 9 ¼” vase is decorated with small pink flowers and black leaves that trail gracefully around the top half of the vase. The vase has a soft blue to purple background with the inside totally pink. An absolutely gorgeous looking vase. The base is impressed with the Roman numeral date, XVIII, the Rookwood back stamp, the body style number 1122B and Sara Sax’s signature, SX. The vase is in excellent condition with no cracks, hairlines or restorations. There is a tiny glaze pop on the side and some very fine crazing . A beautiful addition to your Rookwood collection!
