Offered for sale is a beautiful art pottery ewer by Rookwood. This ewer features festive holly leaves and berries on a rich brown and green background. This ewer measures 7.5 inches in height and approximately 3.5 inches in diameter at its widest point. This ewer is in excellent condition with a fine and uniform overall crazing. T are no cracks or chips. T are two darker craze lines on the base (underside) of the ewer, but they do not extend to the body of the vase. I mention this only for absolute accuracy. This vase is signed with the Rookwood mark on the base. I believe that it dates from 1896 (10 flame marks). This vase is also signed by Elizabeth N. Lincoln. Elizabeth Lincoln worked at Rookwood from 1892 until 1931. She is considered one of the best decorators of mat glaze work. Payment: Paypal ensures fastest delivery!!
