Up for bid is a Rookwood marine scenic vellum ovoid vase painted by Fred Rothenbush. The vase stands 9" tall and approximately 7" wide. The vase is crazed. T are no chips, cracks or hairlines. The scene depicts sail boats on water accented by beautiful blue sky and clouds. Very dramatic and very pleasing. The Rookwood vase has the flame logo with "VIII" underneath indicating it was an early piece from 1908. Also numbered 999C with Fred Rothenbush cypher. We have tried to take as many photos to give you as accurate a picture as we can of the crazing and beautiful design. S/H contact Seller.
