If you have ANY questions about this auction please ask before bidding! The overwhelming majority of the pottery we sell was manufactured in the early 1900s through 1950, please realize these items were handmade and are not "perfect" as we would expect them to be if made today. The term mint to us means: no damage after the manufacture of the item, the piece is as it left the factory. So please realize that t may be an unglazed area, a fired glaze drip, variations in the color of the glaze, mold defects and/or factory imperfections (glaze bubble or an extra small piece of clay fired under the glaze). We use super-sized photos and show as many angles as we can of the item. Also, please recognize that the color you may see on your monitor may not be identical to the pottery due to the color settings you have on your monitor. We do not color enhance any of our photos. PLEASE REALIZE DESCRIBING EVERY MINUTE FLAW ON HANDMADE POTTERY IS VERY DIFFICULT, HOWEVER WE TRY OUR VERY BEST TO ACCURATELY DESCRIBE. SHOULD WE MISS ANYTHING WE WILL GLADLY WORK WITH YOU. BUT FOR US TO GIVE A REFUND AFTER THE SALE, THE ITEM MUST REMAIN IN THE IDENTICAL AND EXACT CONDITION AS IT WAS SENT TO YOU. IF YOU ALTER THE CONDITION IN ANY WAY, WE WILL NOT TAKE IT BACK OR OFFER ANY REFUND. Again, If you have ANY questions about this auction please ask before bidding! Again, we cannot emphasize the importance of emailing us with ANY questions or requests for additional photos, we check our email at least twice a day. At the 3 o'clock position on the base underside is just a factory glaze drip that was ground off during production. No damage. We have examined under a magnifying glass and bright light. I am adding an up-close photo, again this is factory and no damage - you can see the factory grinding and the stilt mark dot - probably just w glaze puddled when firing. Simply in the early handmaking.
