For sale is a small vase, about 3 ¾ inches high. It is decorated with an oxblood color vase which is close to cherry red in color. The interior is neutral, which provides a nice contrast. I think that's slightly unusual, as most I've seen are a solid color. The piece has an impressed Rookwood mark, an LIII for 1953 and 6514E for the pattern number. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is slight crazing under the glaze, but not enough to be unstable or distracting. The pics make it look lighter a bit more orange than it actually is. The color is a deep maroon, dark red. Overall a very solid an attractive piece.
