up for bids is a very rare piece of Rookwood pottery.Signed with Lenore Ashbury's initials on bottom,as well as the Rookwood logo.IV(Roman numeral on bottom) dates it to 1904.Thistles with blossoms on a 9 3/4 inch vase .Diameter is 4 inches.Mouth is 3 inches in diameter,bottom is 2 7/8 inches in diameter.This Rookwood pattern is extremely rare to find,and is one of their larger vases as well.Condition is excellent,no chips, cracks,scratches,bullet holes etc.Super light crazing,normal a Rookwood piece.Folks you just don't find them like this to often.Thistles are detailed beautifully,and t are four buds on the thistles as well.Mottled glaze is nice and even throughout.Any further questions feel free to ask,several pictures for you to view,if one need more we will forward them to you via e-mail...Thanks for looking!!!
