This is a very nice rug. I am not an expert in rugs. this looks like a Persian Sarouk rug. Thousands of tiny handmade knots. there is a small center medallion surrounded by many different plants and flowers. It is large at just under 9' x 12'. the pictures were taken outside on a sunny day. all the black areas are shadows from tree branches. there is one small area of pile wear shown in the last picture. the fringe has been cut or worn short. It hasn't been cleaned at all, just swept on the top side. it would definitely benefit from washing although no overt stains.please use ebay enlarge and ask questions before bidding. no returns
