Offered is a very nice 5 piece place setting. Made by Haviland New York, this vintage discontinued Rosalinde pattern offers very sweet pink, white, and lavender flowers, trailing vines and leaves......on a creamy background. Included in this 5 piece place setting is the dinner plate, cup and saucer, dessert (or salad) plate, and a bread and butter plate. The scalloped dinner plate measures approximately 10 inches in diameter with gold trim along the scalloped edge and one circular gold trimmed line inside the plate; the cup measures about a tad over 3.5 inches in diameter with the top edge in gold trim and the outer handle being solid gold and it is about 2 inches deep; the scalloped saucer is about 6 inches in diameter with gold trim around the edge and around the center indent; the scalloped dessert or salad plate measures approximately 7.75 inches in diameter and is trimmed in gold around the edge and in the center; and the scalloped bread and butter plate measures about 6.5 inches in diameter with gold trim around the outer edge and in the center. I saw no cracks, chips, or crazing, with the surface area showing no, or only the minimal of wear from general use.........it doesn't look like it has been used all that much.
