A collector's wood rosary is offered , a 21 1/2" long rosary composed of rough handmade olivewood beads with maching metal clinced wood crucifix and special center medal which is a capsule containing a drop of water from the River Jordan, probably a pilgrim's memento from the reputed spot w Jesus was baptized by St John the Baptist. The reverse of the capsule depicts a Crusader's cross engraved upon it and the word "Jerusalem" may be read on the metal back portion of the crucifix. Condition is graded as very fine, although the wood beads are meant to be rough abnd slightly irregular. Late vintage in age, these beads probably were made in the 1960s.U.S. buyers agree to pay a postage and handling contribution of 7.00 US$ for mailing small packet/air mail rate (7- 9 day delivery) to any location within the USA.
