4" high by 4 3/4" wide 6 footed " GRAPE " Rose Bowl 1 1/4 lb Presented for your consideration; a fine and early, possibly rare, footed Amethyst rose bowl. Firstly the condition: Excellent. T is one tiny 1/8" rough spot on the surface, see the macro picture. I'm sure that it's in the making. The interior lines in the bottom are straw or pour marks, again, in the making. The only age wear is on the bottom surface of the feet; micro-scratches. I did check my Carnival Glass books, but Dugan's "Grape Delight" rose bowl is only listed in a 6" size. Imperial's footed rose bowl in amethyst, gave no size. Also t is no cable in the pattern; as you can see, t are three bunches of grapes on leaves. Three large leaves and a continuous vine are seen on the upper area of the bowl. Also I do not believe "Grape" by Imperial has a cable. Iridization is on both inside and outside. The item was very dusty when procured from a Philadelphia Victorian home. I gave it a mild sponge wash with soapy warm water. So it's not exactly "as aquired". So I described the item as best I could, in words and pictures. The final decision as to the maker, will during the auction, remain with you fine eBayer's. Your comments may be posted on this listing, and as always, are appreciated. So a nice and possibly rare, softball sized Grape rose bowl, in amethyst. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Buyers worldwide are welcome to place bids.
