ORIENTAL ROSE MEDALLION TEAPOT, 8 TEACUPS, 8 SAUCERS Nice Rose Medallion teaset. This set was made for the Chinese export business - teacups and saucers have China stamped on the bottom in red - the teapot is not marked - t is a square area on the bottom underside about the size of a postage stamp w the label/signature looks like someone has buffed it off. It is from the 1920-30s. Direct from an estate in Toledo, Ohio. In excellent condition. No chips, cracks, flea bites, or crazing. Some cups have slight roughness on the rim but that is the way they were made. The teacups, are 2.25" high; the saucers are 4.25' across; the teapot is about 8" high. I am selling more Rose Medallion in two other auctions - 5 8" plates & 2 Oriental soup spoons. Take a look! My low opening bid in no way reflects the true value of this item. This will be shipped USPS PRIORITY MAIL. Insurance is optional - I pack carefully but if buyer elects no insurance, I do not accept liability.
