Someone long ago made a really beautiful job of dressing this Bride and Groom. The attention to detail is fantastic. They have the painted sleep eyes of the late 1940’s early 1950’s six inch Rosebud dolls beloved of so many little girls just after the war. The bride is dressed in a lace trimmed satin gown with layers of net petticoats and tiny rosettes. She carries a tiny bouquet and a lucky silver horse shoe in her lace gloved hands. She has her original mohair wig covered with her long net and lace veil. The groom is smartly dressed in morning suit and top hat with a satin waistcoat and carrying a pair of gloves. He also has a cravat and very tiny buttonhole and is finished off with a smart pair of shoes. They are in great condition with only a little wear and tear considering their good age.
