Offered here for sale is a largely complete, largely perfect service for 8 with serving pieces of ROSENTHAL china. The pattern was designed by the famous designer RAYMOND LOEWY and is called GRASSES. This delicate china and pattern depicts gently undulating reeds and grasses on a white fine china background trimmed in gold.I call this set largely complete because it needs one dinner plate and one cup to make a complete service for 8.I call this set largely perfect, because I have found one spot of damage: a chip on the gold rim of the lid of the creamer.This listing is for 64 pieces of this fabulous china from the 1950's.
