Stunning Rosenthal Magic flute gold Sarastro cake / salad plate, designed by Bjorn Wiinblad, 7 1/2 diameter This auction is for a rare and beautiful Rosenthal magic flute Sarastro plate designed by Bjoern Wiinblad and manufactured by Rosenthal. The series Magic flute gold is the most expensive china Rosenthal ever designed. This plates sell for $ 249.00 in shops! It was originally designed in the late 70s by Bjorn Wiinblad. As shown on the pictures rims have thick gold rims with beautiful and typical Bjorn Wiinblad people and faces. Very expressive. I have listed additional 5 plates in other auctions in case you would like to buy more than one. This is a stunning piece with Wiinblad signature and Rosenthal mark on the bottom. First choice and great condition with only very minor signs of age and usage. No cracks, chips, hair lines or repairs. Bjorn Wiinblad died in June 2006 in Denmark.
