Every piece of the service depicts a different scene from the Mozart opera. The underside of each piece also displays the respective libretto text in ornamental Wiinblad handwriting.I translated the German as best as I could. It says on the back of the plate:"Papageno and Monostatos look at each other and scare over the other.
