THE HOLIDAYS ARE COMING . . . SHOP EARLY ! I am selling twelve (12) pieces from this stunning Rosenthal tea service. The lot includes the teapot and lid, creamer, three saucers, two teacups and four cake plates. The mark on the bottom of these pieces says "Rosenthal Selb-Bavaria MARIA" and have a tiny hand-painted notation. I have never seen the Maria pattern like this and am told it is unusual. These pieces are white and cream with an embossed rim. They are outlined and decorated in gold lines and a gold leaf pattern. T is a mixed floral cluster in the center of the plates and on the sides of the other items. The floral clusters are different, depending on the piece of china. For example, the cluster on the teapot is different from the cluster on the creamer, each cake plate has a different cluster, and so forth. One teacup has a chip on the rim; the other has a little wear to the gold on its rim. Otherwise, they are excellent. All the other pieces in this lot are in excellent condition-- no chips, cracks, crazing, discoloration. No wear to the gold. No utensil marks. This is a lovely assortment of pieces to add to your Rosenthal collection! Please contact me if you have any questions.
