ROSENTHAL "PUPPY" COCKER SPANIEL RARE BROWN COCKER SPANIEL PUPPY Sm I have come up with yet another delightful Collectible surprise for you to bid on. This is a gorgeous mid-20th century, beautifully sculptured, hand painted, and carefully glazed, figure of a GOLDEN BROWN COCKER SPANIEL PUPPY in a sitting position with his forelegs partially out stretched, head erect and turned to right. Rosenthal Porcelain Factory was established in SELB BAVARIA GERMANY in 1880, and continues today to produce the finest hard porcelain Pottery, China Flatware, and elaborate yet delicate Figurines of Animals and Birds, Sea Life, and Human Beings in every endevor and attitude. Rosenthal is greatly appreciated for its carefully applied glaze, its hardness, and its high glossy finish. This Puppy is one of a matched pair of the same series, which we bought seperately, and this puppy is the smaller of the two, with head turned to right. It is the smaller of the 2 listed today. He is approximately 3.5" high and 2.75" long. The larger puppy is offered in a seperate listing and is sold seperately. This smaller Rosenthal figure of a Puppy Cocker Spanial is a superior example of the established fine quality of the entire Rosenthal product which makes it attractive world wide to recognized Porcelain Collectors.
