So pretty vintage English bone china part tea set comprising of 6 trios, cake plate, sugar bowl and milk jug. The pieces are decorated with little roses and are gilt edged. The set is in excellent vintage condition with no particular signs of wear and dates from the 1950s. There are however a couple of minor imperfections I need to mention. The cake plate has a very small what looks like a super fine hairline but does not go right through the plate under the glaze and it does have a very small patch of crazing. One of the tea plates also has the same thing. I could have listed this set without these plates but it seemed such a shame to split the set. Having said all that they are still very usable items. I have photographed the plates in question to the best of my ability to allow you to make your decision. No maker's mark. The set is just the thing for your vintage themed Tea/Wedding/Birthday/Anniversary party. Please look at my other auctions for similar items. I cannot, and will not be held responsible for items once they have left me, although in the unlikely event of items getting damaged or lost in transit, I will assist in Royal Mail claims by posting you a buyer's receipt & postal receipt and give all the necessary information needed so that you can make a claim from Royal Mail. I cannot make the claim on your behalf with Royal Mail. I always obtain a Certificate of Posting if using Royal Mail. Please be fully aware that they exclude ceramic and glass items from their compensation claim policy. If the parcel or item unfortunately gets damaged in transit with the Courier Service, then I am able to make the claim on your behalf. Please supply full details together with photos of any damage and send it to me to make the claim. Should they accept responsibility and agree to reimburse the costs involved, then I will pass this on to you via Paypal. If the item is valuable, I would strongly recommend taking out enhanced insurance to cover any claim in full. Please be aware that if sent by Courier, although their shipping charges are cheaper than Royal Mail, they too exclude ceramic and glass items from their compensation claim policy. All my items are packaged to a high standard using bubble wrap and packing peanuts as protection from damage. I normally use brand new cardboard boxes, but where I have a suitable used box I will re-cycle. My postage charges include a small charge to cover the cost of the packaging materials - please bear in mind bubble wrap, boxes and void fill (packing peanuts) are not cheap, and we do not profit from postage in any way.
