Description: Roseville Apple Blossom Basket Vase # 309-8!This auction is for a Roseville basket style vase in the Apple Blossom pattern, produced by the Roseville Pottery Company around 1948. This piece is embossed on the bottom "Roseville U.S.A. 309-8". It has a sharp mold and strong color - Green background color with a light ivory white shading in the flower and a nicly contrasting brown wood grain handle. It measrues about 8 1/2" high and is about 8" wide from handle to handle. It is in excellent condition, with the exception of some crazing in the glaze throughout the piece with dark stains in the crazing near the lower left handle attachment area, in that same area on the handle t is also some glaze missing that has chipped away, t is also the same problem on the bottom of the piece (please see pictures) t are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or damage. It is guaranteed to be original Roseville, NOT a reproduction.
