Blue Clemana Roseville Vase #28 0 6 This has been in our family for more than 50 years. The base is deeply incised with; "Roseville 280 6" below this is a faintly scratched infinity sign or a figure 8 on its side . I think this may be the artist's signature on this piece, but I am not an authority on Roseville. T is no USA on this piece indicating that it was produced sometime between 1932 - 1937. The Clemana pattern is not common and t his is a lovely example, no breaks or chips or any other damage. It is 6" tall and about 7" wide. The field is a nice shade of dusty blue with white florets centered with pink and green strap foliage. The color in the photos varies a little due to use of flash for one picture. The photo without flash is clearer because t is no glare. I will double box this for shipping. Insurance is required. Please ask questions before bidding. I'll gladly send additional photos or scans on request. I generally ship Priority Mail, but can send UPS or FedEx, if you prefer. Please tell me if you are bidding on other items from me, so I can combine shipping to save you money and me time. Please note that I've added a new picture. This is a close-up of one side of this vase showing some tiny "chippy" spots. T are three ridges very near each other w the glaze is chipped, or worn, or didn't cover originally (may have been little bubbles in the glaze) . The tan clay base shows through in these three spots. These spots are small, no bigger than the tip of a ballpoint pen. I used a zoom to photograph them, so the area is magnified in the photo.
