Ame's Auctions: Professional, Fast, & Honest! Ame's Auctions ROSEVILLE EXPERIMENTAL VASE This auction is for an authentic Roseville experimental vase from an estate sale. The lady this comes from inherited it from her mother years ago, who lived near one of the Roseville factories, and she was told it was worth alot of money so she wrapped it in paper and put it away in a cabinet. I confirmed with two reputable dealers that know Roseville and both confirmed that it is a Roseville vase. It is a very special piece, one of a kind that was not put into production, an experimental casting to test the glaze. It is 10" tall and 19.5" around the widest section, beautiful coloring with a warm apricot and soft green shades, has one small chip at the base (see photos), t is no crazing, no cracks. Has the words Fringed Gentian (Wild Flowers) Lavender Blue Flowers written on the back. The bottom has the numbers 58 over 84 and 3-571 done in a blue ink. It is a really stunning piece and would make an exceptional addition to any Roseville collection. I took alot of photos so you can see exactly what you are getting.
