Offered for your consideration this week are eight wonderful items from Roseville Pottery in highly sought patterns: Earlam, Fuchsia (2), Juvenile (3), Mostique, and Pine Cone. Each is a superb example of the artisanship of the Roseville company. Please check out all these auctions as t is something for everyone, both the new and seasoned collector as well as those interested in resale. Best of all, each of these remarkable examples of Roseville's finest has either no reserve or a far-below-book reasonable reserve. PATTERN: FUCHSIA VINTAGE: 1939 DESCRIPTION: Striking colors coupled with an extemely sharp mold makes this vase stand out from the crowd. Note the definition of the leaves and flowers. In over 40 years of collecting Roseville Pottery, I've seen lots of brown Fuchsia, but never has the brown been so lustrous and deep. Just incredible, the piece rings like a bell when tapped. This stunning example will surely enhance any collection or decor. Photos of this vase were taken outdoors with a flash. Colors are true to the actual piece. MOLD NO.: 891-6 DIMENSIONS: 6.5" h. x 6.5" w.; opening is 2.5"; circumference is 16". MARKS: Roseville 891-6" impressed (very faint). CONDITION: As stated above this lovely vase rings like a bell; t is, however, a tiny shallow chip on the lip which has long been glued in place well. This can be seen to the left in first picture and, more clearly, in the last picture. Definitely not a distraction as it nearly blends perfectly with the design. PRICE GUIDE: Mollring (10th Edition, 2004):$225-$265; Bassett (2nd Edition, 2001): $175-$225; Humphries (19th Edition, 2004): $180-$310; Bomm (1st Edition, 1998): $175-$275; Huxford/Nickel (12th Edition, 2001): $175-$200. Note to Buyer : When reserve is met, Seller will immediately securely package the item and weigh it on USPS scales. Seller will then revise the listing to include both the exact packaged weight of the item and the size of the box so that actual shipping costs via USPS Priority Mail from Seller's zip code--32976--to Buyer's zip code can be determined. Said revision to the listing will appear in red print below Seller's description. No piece of old pottery will leave Seller's hands without insurance for the purchase amount. Current USPS insurance fees are as follows: $1.65 for coverage up to $50; $2.05 for coverage of $50.01 to $100; $2.45 for coverage of $100.01 to $200; $4.60 for coverage of $200.01 to $300; add $0.90 for each additional $100 of coverage. Seller charges no "handling fee", "packaging fee", or "materials fee". Handling, packaging, and materials are, to Seller's mind, the costs of doing business that should not be passed on to the Buyer. IGNORE ANY POSTED SHIPPING COSTS ON LISTING ; SELLER WILL POST EXACT SHIPPING COSTS AS SOON AS RESERVE IS MET. This irreplaceable piece of pottery has been securely packaged (either double-boxed or triple bubble wrapped) and has been accurately weighed on U.S. Postal Service scales. Actual packaged weight of this item is 2 # 4.5 oz . Package dimensions are less than the maximum allowed by the USPS for mailing at the lowest rate. Buyer can determine actual shipping charges from zip 32976 to your zip code by going to the USPS website. Insurance is required in the exact amount of the purchase price. PLEASE IGNORE ANY EBAY CONTRADICTORY STATEMENTS TO THIS SHIPPING AND/OR INSURANCE INFORMATION. THE EBAY LISTING FORMAT REQUIRES SHIPPING COSTS TO BE POSTED AT THE TIME OF LISTING. SELLER CHOOSES NEITHER TO PROFIT FROM NOR TO TAKE A LOSS ON SHIPPING/INSURANCE FEES.
