Up for auction is this ROSEVILLE footed bowl in the FUTURA LINE, introduced by Roseville in 1928. I believe that this is the "HALF EGG" footed bowl, shape No. 197. It has wonderful Art Deco lines and a matte glaze in the typical Futura green and mauve. This piece is guaranteed to be original, not a reproduction. The vase is 5 1/4" tall and 6 3/8" wide. It sits on four feet and the base is 3 1/8". T is a stylized leaf design on the front, as well as the back. T is some overall glaze crazing and significant glaze loss to three areas of one foot. One area is chipped. Please see the photographs for condition and details as the piece is being sold as found. I am not an expert on art pottery, but I will be happy to answer any questions. A wonderful piece of art pottery for the Roseville collector. It can still be displayed beautifully!
