This beautiful vase is very rarely offered on ebay. (I watch and haven't seen this but once in the last 6 months.) From Roseville's popular and delicate cosmos pattern, the vase is in a base color of a spring green with accents and highlights in yellow and tan and blossoms in white and lavendar with yellow centers. In the classic cornucopia form, though much thinner and lighter than the more common Roseville patterns, the upward sweep of the vase is gorgeous. The blossoms are placed in the middle of vase, trailing down to the base. Like all cosmos items, t is a central band of blue, as well. The vase measures just over 6" tall at its highest point, about the same from outside edge to outside edge, just over 4" wide at the mouth and 3.5" at the base. The vase is in outstanding condition, with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, and even no crazing! I also did not note any glaze pops or glaze skips! The underside is just as pure and is inscribed Roseville 136-6, also with a 2 and a 14 in black crayon under the glaze. Like all my auctions, this one starts at $.99 and has no reserve! Insurance is mandatory, but the first $100 is included with the shipping and handling charge. Just a note for clarification - the photo of the topdown view of the vase can make it appear as if t are glaze skips or chips along the bottom edge. This is NOT AT ALL the case! The design of the vase jiggles at that point and the gray you see is just a sliver of the weatd deck board below. As stated, t is NO damage to this piece!
