Roseville Juvenile - Rare Boxed Set This is the rare boxed set made in the 1930's - 1940's, according to the Roseville reference books. The box is in a "distressed" condition, as the pictures show. The corners are taped and sometime in the past someone wrapped tape around the entire box, resulting in the dark strip around the entire box. The tape is gone, what is left is the residue stain. Also someone has written "Roseville Pottery Children's Set" in ink on the corner of the box. Box measures 13-1/2" x 10-1/2" x 3".The three pieces themselves are in mint condition. The bowl is 6" wide rim to rim. The decoration is bright and unworn. Has the usual crazing and glaze pops common in Roseville's creamware. Marked with a raised relief mark "R, 2, USA"The mug is 3" tall. The decoration is bright and unworn. Has crazing and glaze pops. Marked with a raised relief mark "R, 1, USA"The rolled-edge plate is slightly over 7" wide. The decoration is bright and unworn. Has crazing and a couple glaze pops. Marked with a raised relief mark "R, 3, USA" Also scratched into the plate, barely visible, is "29". This was done by hand and is under the glaze, so it was made this way.
