A beautiful pair of matched Pauleo shape lamps from Roseville in excellent signed condition. Complete with two chain pulls and the original pleated silk shades. The are factory made and were a gift to the Wells family from Mr Rhead many generations ago when he came to work at Homer Laughlin China Company. The vases measure a very large 19"hx8" across. Mounted they measure 33" h with the filigree brass finial. Mirror black type glaze on a 19" Pauleo shape from 1914-17. A very rare blue Roseville label is under the brass mounting base. The glaze has blue in it when viewed with a flashlight. These were recently purchased from auction to benefit THE NATIONAL TRUST FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION FROM four generations of THE ROBERT M. WELLS ESTATE owner OF THE HOMER LAUGHLIN CHINA COMPANY. See picture of mansion and pottery. We have more to offer from this historic mansion and will list it after inventory is complete.
