Up for auction is this beautiful Roseville Jardiniere. This is the green Pine Cone pattern with the brown twig handles. In raised letters on the bottom, is Roseville USA 401-6. This must be an unusual number as I have not been able to find it in any of the antique price guides or Roseville guide that I have looked at. Also on the bottom, written in black ink is $3.50 which could have been the original purchase price. This beauty stands 6" high with a mouth diameter of 7" and at the widest point it is 9" in diameter. The colors are still outstanding and very beautiful. The only flaws I can find is a small spot on the outside rim and one on the inside rim. These both could be molding flaws. I have taken it to several antique shops and some say they are molding flaws and a couple said they were a little rough with no color or glaze. I have tried to show these in the picture, but as small as they are, they don't show up very well. Also in the bottom inside, t is a small rust spot. Outside of these items, I would say it is in VGC. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. I have tried to describe this item to the best of my ability. It would make a great addition to any Roseville collection. Thanks for looking and have a great day. John 3:16
