This is a very nice piece of early american pottery, and at first was not certain who made it. I thought maybe Red Wing, Monmouth, or some other Blue White Ware manufacturer. Then a fellow collector out t ID-ed this as Roseville, so I'd probably go with that and certainly offer thanks to him for this information. I was not at all sure who manufactured it. This piece is actually kind of a cream color with pale blue flowers. Both the flowers and lattice background design are embossed. The pitcher stands about nine inches high and at the bottom the diameter is almost five inches. T was some sort of gold flashing around the top rim and perhaps the top of the handle. You can see w the top portion of the handle shows a lighter color, and I'm thinking that this is just from the thumb postion and rubbing away this gold flash. Cannot interpret that wear otherwise. Though you experts who see a lot of pottery may know. T is some light crazing and t and a few manufactured blemishes in a couple places but the only one of note is the one circled in the photo, which is right at the base of the handle. Nothing horrible by any means. The pictures do a good job of showing this item, so doubt you'll be at all disappointed I'm guessing this dates to around 1900, though it's just a good guess.
