I thought that we had made our last USMC move, but Uncle Sam has decided that we like NC too much and is relocating us to VA Beach (could be worse), so time to purge and move AGAIN! Ok, lets get on with the auction.... This auction is for a Roseville Pottery tankard set, to include the tankard and five mugs, in the Quaker pattern from 1910-1919. The tankard measures 11 3/4" tall and the four mugs measure 5" tall. This is a VERY EARLY Roseville pattern and would be a RARE addition to your collection. Please excuse the white spots, that is just camera glare. T are no white spots on the piece. What a great Christmas gift! It can be seen on page 263 of the Roseville in all it's Splendor guide. The tankard is listed with a value to $600 and the mugs with a value to $200 each for a total of $1,400! All four mugs are in very good condition: one is mint, two have a tiny nick and one has a bruise on the rim. The tankard has some heavier interior crazing with one crazing line on the rim that is just 1/2" long. T was a very small chip on the tip of the spout that has been nicely repaired. The entire repaired area is about the size of a small pinky fingernail. Over-all the set is in excellent condition. Please see other auctions by the same seller for more great pieces. As always, your money back if you are not completely satisfied, you will be thrilled, I promise! Good luck and bid now as t is NO reserve!!!
