This beautiful circa 1943 Roseville Pottery Water Lily #664-5" flower pot and base is being sold for only $79 with NO reserve and free shipping. It is in good condition and it is an original. It was a wedding present for my husband's grandmother in the 1940's and has been in the family ever since. (She passed away over a decade ago and this just does not fit with our décor.) I did not say it was in excellent condition because if you look in the photos you will see two dots of dark turquoise paint on one Water Lily. (It dripped t when the kitchen was painted that fashionable color in the 1950's and has been t ever since.) I am sure it is easily removable but I am not an expert in Roseville and do not know the appropriate product to use to remove the paint but leave the water lily perfect. Also, the separate 4 7/8 inch base has three chips on its rim that are seen in the photos. Except for the water marks inside the top of the rim of the flower pot it is in great condition with no hairlines or cracks. I have tried to show different views of the paint dots and the chips. Other than that, the lovely brown and green color of the pot is beautiful. The piece is 5 inches tall, 3 inches in diameter at the base with the corrrect drainage hole and 6 ¼ inches in diameter at the top. The flower pot bottom has the wanted crayon marks and is marked Roseville U.S.A. 664-5". The separate base just says Roseville U.S.A. Any item may be returned for a cash/U.S. postal money order if it is shipped back within 3 days of receipt and it must be in the exact condition as received. For all the international bidders, I will be happy to ship, however, I will not write a lesser amount for cheaper duty.
