This auction is for a stunning ROSEVILLE ROSECRAFT VASE . This vase can be seen on page 277 of Roseville In All Of Its Splender . This is the 295-9 jar absent the top. Several of these vases came either with or without tops. The mold on the vase is exceptionally crisp and the orange and brown colors sharp and consistent throughout. In addition to the 9" height, it is 6 1/2" across at the widest point. As shown, it is marked with a small "v" inside a large "R" on the bottom. As shown, the piece does have a very small sliver missing on the bottom edge. I have shown pictures of both w the sliver is and also how it looks when standing, almost not noticeable. I mention it for accuracy of description. Also, I found the missing piece inside the vase after I purchased it!! It could be repaired but I decided against it but it's t for the buyer. T are no other faults, including no crazing on this piece produced circa 1920. It's a very handsome and impressive vase. The reserve is set low to protect my investment.
