Offered for your consideration this week is a 5-piece lot of the earliest of Roseville art pottery pieces in the Rozane and Rozane Royal-Light patterns. All were hand-painted at the turn of the 20th century. All, but two, of these are signed by the artist. Most of the pieces are rare and unusual in the Roseville lineup we all see each week. Each is listed with a reasonable starting bid and with NO RESERVE. Each of these irreplaceable examples of Roseville's earliest and finest will be double-boxed and securely packaged to maximize its chances of reaching you safely. Insurance, however, is required. Shipping and insurance costs are what the USPS charges me for mailing from my zip code (48170) to yours. T is NEVER a packaging, handling, or materials fee with MI7FL5.....NEVER! PATTERN: Rozane VINTAGE: 1900 DESCRIPTION: Exceptional artwork on the rounded upper base of the vase. Beautiful artwork with subtle shades of orange poppies (?) and beautiful green shades for the leaves and stems. Why no artist put his/her name to this artwork is baffling. It's truly outstanding. This lovely and delicate bud vase will certainly be a focal point in your decor or collection. It's an absolutely beautiful vase. MOLD NO.: 841-7 DIMENSIONS: 7.5" h. x 5" width/15" circ./2" wide top lip (1/2-in. opening)/2" d. base MARKS: Unsigned by artist ; die stamp mark ROZANE 841 RPCo CONDITION: Minimal crazing, of course, but no chips, cracks, repairs. Sorry that the pics don't do the piece justice. The high gloss glazing and dark background make good shots nearly impossible for this photographer.
