Offered for sale is this VINTAGE Roseville Freesia pattern tangerine jardiniere #669-8 and pedestal. This beautiful two handled jardiniere was produced around 1945. The pattern consists of clusters of freesia flowers with long leaves on a tangerine colored background; the bottom of the bowl fades into a darker color. The pedestal has one flower on one side and two on the other; the tangerine background also fades into a darker color. The jardiniere measures an incredible 11.5" in diameter at the widest point and is 8" tall. It is marked appropriately on the bottom (see pictures). The pedestal measures 6 3/4" in diameter on the top and gradually flares to 11 1/4" on the bottom; it is approximately 16 1/2" tall; it is marked USA on the top.
