ROSEVILLE WINCRAFT PINE CONE VASE Bottom reads "Roseville USA 283-8" No Reserve! An excellent piece of Roseville with no chips, no cracks. Crazing is very, very, very light overall, more on inside than exterior. Exterior crazing really only visible in sunlight. The lip is smooth and intact, handles completely intact. I really don't see any flaws on this piece. I NEVER call a piece of vintage pottery "mint," since it really cannot, in my opinion, be mint unless it was never removed from the box. This piece comes close, were it not for the minimal crazing. This beautiful, flared vase is graced by Roseville's famous pine boughs. It is a warming deep butterscotch color and the handles are shaped as pine cone needles and branch. It is really quite lovely. Great natural coloration, simple, elegant design. Beautiful showpiece with wonderful presentation evoking fall and the onset of the holiday season. The quality of this vase is such that it can easily be a stand alone display piece. See this vase in the 2004 edition of the Jack and Nancy Bomm book, Roseville in All Its Splendor on page 364. This is a vintage item. I am selling it "AS IS." Feel free to email with questions. I have many pieces of Roseville, Hull, McCoy and other art pottery to list. Please read descriptions as I will certainly disclose any flaws I see. I have several books with which I've tried to identify the items I am selling, but I am not an expert. Please feel free to add to the description or correct any errors you note. If you do not feel this item is as described, please return it within 3 days and I will refund your money. Shipping includes insurance and delivery confirmation. Whenever possible, I will combine shipping as long as the SAFETY of the items can be assured. Thank you for viewing, and please check back for more pottery listings.
