's another great Roseville vase for your consideration! The vase is in the thornapple pattern and highly desired blue color, style number 811-6. The vase is similar to a trophy in shape, sitting high on its base and with upward sweeping side handles and a wide mouth. The colors are amazing, ranging from an almost-white pale cream to the predominant aqua blue and then darkening towards the base to a rich dark cornflower blue. Each side of the vase has markedly different decoration, with one side featuring the large pure white bloom of the thornapple, while the other shows the thornapple fruit from which the plant gets its name. Both sides have beautiful green leaves with veining. It is 6.5" tall, about 6" wide, 3.5" at the mouth, narrowing to less than 2" at its narrowest point and only 2.75" wide at the base. The vase is in terrific condition, with NO chips, NO cracks, and NO repairs. T is some clean overall crazing (though the underside and lower part have none), but it's not obvious at all at normal viewing distance, and is noticeable mostly on the interior cream colored area. The mold is sharp with well-defined details, and the entire vase is very clean, free of stains, waterlines, and mineral deposits.
