Roseville Zephyr Lily pattern was made in Zanesville, Ohio after the introduction in 1946. It can befound in different colors. Items offered here in coming months will all be blue, with yellow lily flowers and green leaves. The blue Roseville seems to be a harder color to find then others. All are marked on the bottom with the Roseville script along with numbers in AA-BB format. The AA was the pattern number and the BB is the size. The size is near value and can vary some. The cookie jar has AA value of 5 and BB value of 8. The 5 is the pattern or mold and 8 being the height. The height on the cookie is actually 10 inches with the lid on. Yes, the Roseville has been reproduced. The reproductions are poor in quality without the rich matte finish to be found on the real Roseville. The reproductions are too shiny and just look dreadfully wrong if you have held the real item in your hands. They look new! The number is most often also wrong on the reproductions. If you have a reproduction in your hands you will quickly see the BB size number is most often off. A vase 10 inches tall or a bowl 10 inches in diameter may have 6 for the size on the bottom as example. Also, the reproductions are a more recent thing and all the Roseville I will be selling was put into a collection years before reproductions happened. THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION! The Roseville I am selling started being made 67 years ago. Think handmade with molds before computers existed. Only the reproductions are perfect because they are new. The old Roseville can vary in color, vases should be assumed to have been used (Lime-A-Way can sometimes remove the flower residue), bumps or signs of pull out from molds do exist, and the old Roseville may have tape or writing on the bottom from an early owner keeping track of inventory. Too many items in a box can raise the chance of damage so it may not be possible to combine items. Combined items must be closing close to each other on ending time/date. All breakable items are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in plastic filler (if the box has room). The non breakable items are wrapped in bubble wrap normally and then different fillers can be used in the box as needed. The boxes are mailed at the Post Office promptly once payment is received. Parcels are shipped daily Monday through Saturday mornings (as possible), excluding Holidays. Most items get to the post office the day after the item ends. All shipping is via US Post Office Priority Mail. This is advertised to take 1 to 3 business days. Experience has shown that not all packages will be delivered in 3 business days. Priority Mail is cheaper then most all other ways of shipping. It has the first $50 dollars of insurance free and they supply free boxes. This allows us to not charge handling charges.
