ROSWELL UFO / FLYING SAUCER Please, READ ALL descriptive information and ALL Terms of Sale and VIEW ALL photos before bidding. IF you have any questions about this item, please feel free to contact me. Up for auction is a nice model of the famed Roswell UFO. DESCRIPTION & DETAILS : This is a fully assembled, h ighly detailed, 1/48 scale model of the UFO that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico on July 4, 1947. The model is all plastic. FEATURES : Bright silver finish on top. Bright silver finish on bottom, plus a silver-blue 'friction strip' around outer edge of hull. Clear cockpit and 'forward sensors' areas allow you to see inside the UFO. Crystal green and blue detailing (clear green or blue paint) on the cockpit top and inside the sensor compartment add a bit of interest and color to the vehicle. Detailed cockpit with control consoles, seats, and five alien crewmembers. Display Stand Included. I added a weighted bottom to the light-weight display stand that came with the UFO kit - this makes the base less likely to tip over with the UFO mounted on it. To prevent damage to the stand during shipping , it will be sent un-assembled (just push the upright part into the base, then mount the UFO on it). Also, a green felt pad has been added to the underside of the display stand so it won't scratch your shelf or display case. . SEE PHOTOS
