The quality of the gold plating is very high and the case has been finished to a high standard. The colour of the gold is a lovely champagne colour adding to the high quality experience rather than a cheaper looking deep yellow plating often seen on cheaply made gold-plated watches. The quality of the leather strap is one of the best I've seen on a Rotary watch. It is well made and the finish is glossy and slightly padded with a gold buckle with Rotary insignia. The highlight feature of the watch is the well finished automatic skeleton movement revealing the inner workings of the movement both from the front and the back of the watch which looks amazing!
