ROTHSCHILD, Nathan. Letter Sgined, to Frank Green, Chairman of the Bridge House Committee (Blackfriars Bridge Station), asking him to allow Mr. Lanteri “to enter into the competition for the Blackfriars Bridge Statues”. 2 pp. 8 x 5 inches, some light stains and minor creases only. New Court, St. Swithin’s Lane, London, 11 July 1884. Nathan Mayer Rothschild, 1st Baron Rothschild (1840 – 1915), British banker and politician from the international Rothschild financial dynasty. Edouard Lanteri (1848 – 1917), sculptor.
