As you see in the photos, this poor fellow doesn't look like he's had a very pleasant life and his death wasn't much better! This item consists of: Head & upper torso piece 1 pair of hands 1 pair of feet This prop is priced a bit higher than our usual props of this kind. This is due to the extra work that went into creating this prop, the details of which are given below. This is an extremely well detailed, movie quality prop that can be attached to a PVC frame to create a horrifying full body prop that is very lightweight and can be stood on it's own. This parts are life-size in proportions to those of a human skeleton. This prop is a complete, 100% Silent Creations original! You will not find this prop in any store. The Head / Chest The head and upper torso base was cast in latex from one of our original sculptures. Then, an additional layer of "rotting flesh" was made from a cotton/latex blend and applied completely by hand. This gives the texture a uniqueness that guarantees that no two will ever be exactly alike . The head is filled with a soft poly-fill but the upper torso is hollow. This would allow you to drape it over a skeleton body prop if you choose. T is a PVC base in the torso/neck part for the arms to be attached but this can be removed if needed. The hair was also applied by hand and treated to achieve an old decayed look you would expect from a corpse. The Hands The hands are probably the most unique feature of this prop. The hands were made using a new technique of applying flesh over a movable armature. These hands were done completely by hand. The fingers are movable and can be posed in different positions (due to the thickness of the latex, the poses ARE somewhat limited in spots but t are still many ways to pose the hands. The hands are solid and a PVC connector is embedded into the base of the hands for easy attachment to a PVC body frame. The Feet The feet are also cast from our original sculptures. They are cast in thick latex and more of the "rotted flesh" is applied to the ankle areas. The feet are open on the bottom to allow the PVC pipe to go all the way through the bottom. This allows you to mount the feet to a PVC frame to create a full standing zombie. The entire kit was hand painted to bring out every ghastly detail. It was painted using colors that added a decayed appearance and brought out the texture of the flesh. I did my best to capture the various colors in the photos but the colors look even better in person. Hangman's Folly The "hanging" photos shown were at least partially inspired by the hanging skeleton in the foyer of Disney's Haunted Mansion. This prop is lightweight enough to hang (provided the rope you use is strong). T is a small hole cut in the upper back of the prop, just below the head. This allows you to attach a rope to the PVC frame inside if you choose to hang it. This prevents any unnecessary strain on the prop itself. If you do choose to hang the prop, care should be taken to make sure the place your hanging it from is secure and solid. Dungeon of Death As you see, he looks great in a "dungeon" style setting.
