This is an authentic14KT Gold Pope John Paul II medal. Approximately 15/16 inch diameter round in Gold. Like all of our medals it is new. This medal is being sold by itself without a chain.

The front shows Pope John Paul II and has the words "JOANNES PAVLVSII PONT. MAX." around the edge. The back has the stylized crucifix known as the Papal Crucifix, John Paul's birth and death years (1920 - 2005) and bears the 14KT Gold mark. The photo below which shows both sides. The medal ships in a small hinged jewelry box.
